Island X-treme Wrestling Federation, kurz IXW, ist der Name einer US-amerikanischen Wrestling-Promotion, die ist in Kaneohe, Honolulu, Hawaii beheimatet ist. Promotor ist Dave Heart.
Geschichte[]
Die Geschichte der Promotion führt sich per Tradition auf das Jahr 1935 zurück, als Al Karasick die Promotion Big Time Wrestling aufstellte und ihre Geschichte führt über die Mid-Pacific Promotions zur NWA Polynesian, die 1988 eingestellt wurde.
Aufgestellt wurde die Island X-treme Wrestling Federation im Jahr 2000, als sie im Namen der National Wrestling Alliance die Nachfolge der eingestellten NWA Polynesian antrat.
Unter dem Banner der NWA Hawaii wurde IXW ein offizielles NWA-Affiliate.
